So for the second cheez-it test tasting time, we tried the flavor "Baby Swiss". First of all, we had to figure out exactly what Baby Swiss was. So, I went to the Wikipedia site of Baby Swiss in order to learn what it was. For everyone's information, Baby Swiss is a flavor similar to that of Swiss, but not the same. The flavor is not as strong...and that was really apparent as we test-tasted Baby Swiss. Deiter said that the Baby Swiss flavor was not as good as the Original flavor. Ashley believed that it tasted almost like plastic. Everyone liked the box design, but not the flavor. As Ricky said: "It's a party on the box, but not in my mouth." One of the only compliments that Baby Swiss received the whole night was Mary-Kate's. She said that she liked Baby Swiss cheez-its more than she likes real Swiss cheese. A late-comer to the test tasting, Margarita really liked them. She was alone. Ashley said that usually with regular cheez-its she says "om nom I want some more, but not with this flavor".
I didn't hate them, but they didn't have enough flavor for my taste. The only way I got enough flavor was when I ate multiple crackers at the same time. Cheez-its, in my opinion, need to have a flavor that is overpowering and delicious. It needs to pack a punch, not slowly enter the party. I give this flavor of Cheez-it a 3. Not the best, but good for those who don't like a strong flavor.
The wines were good. I was drinking Bully Hill Dry Table Wine, a gift from my parents. Delicious! Good with anything! Everyone else was drinking Tisdale Cabernet Sauvignon. They enjoyed it. As Ricky says - it was good for the $4 spent on the wine.
So, overall, a good night!
